Here is a few FAQs in regards to the San Andreas' Finest Role-Play Community

 

Question: Who owns SA’F?
Answer: SA’F is ran by a team of Community Managers. The Community Managers are made up of some Heads of department; these include LSMPD, BCSD, Civilian Department. This is then followed up by the Community Command Team who assist with day to day operations of the community and are made up of select department heads, these department heads include; SASP, SAEMS, SAFR & Communications.

Question: How old do you have to be in order to join SA’F?
Answer: You must be 16+ in order to join SA’F. No exemptions will be made. 

Question: Do I have to put my real name on any applications?
Answer: No, it is not required. Please use the name you would prefer to go by. As when you become an official member of the community you will be required to have a first initial and a last name, *any last name.* *(Provided it's appropriate of course)* (For example J. Doe, A. Hammond, C. Hemsworth)

Question: When will department applications open?
Answer: Civilian Department applications will remain open indefinitely. Most departments will open when they have vacancies like Law Enforcement Departments or SAFR, SAEMS & communications. However departments such as SAEMS, SAFR & SASP aim to recruit internally, but may open applications to the public infrequently.

Question: What CAD does SA'F Use?
Answer: SA'F uses Sonoran CAD. It can be used as a website or a desktop app

Question: Am I able to use a phone/tablet for dispatch?
Answer: Unfortunately, you must have a computer or laptop for dispatch with a working microphone. You cannot use a other devices such as a phone or a tablet. 

Question: I've applied previously but was denied. Can I apply again?
Answer: Of Course! Check your denial message to your application for specific terms but you are always welcome to apply again after waiting a 30 day time period!

Question: What are the requirements to join SA'F?
Answer: You must have the following: 
- Be 16 years of age, no exceptions
- A Working Microphone
- A Legal Copy of GTA (not required for Communications)
- A computer/laptop that is able to run GTA, FiveM, Teamspeak, CAD and Discord

Question: Does the dispatch department require a copy of Grand Theft Auto V?
Answer: No, you do not need a copy of Grand Theft Auto V to apply for Dispatch Department however, dispatch also all members the opportunity to roleplay in game as a dispatcher in their dispatch headquarters.

 

Question: Can you be in a secondary department?
Answer: Yes, if you meet the minimum requirements for your primary department, then you are eligible to apply for a secondary department.

Question: How do I know if departments are open?
Answer: You can check what departments are open by clicking the "Apply" button at the top of the forum page to visit our application website, where openings are posted. You can also check our social media accounts to see what departments are currently hiring/when they will be hiring.

Question: Is there an attendance requirement?
Answer: Yes, every department has attendance requirements for it's members, this may vary depending on if you're a Primary or a Secondary member. These requirements differ depending on each department, for specific information enquire when you submit your application or during the interview stage.

Question: What form of communication system do we use?
Answer: In SA'F we use both Discord and TeamSpeak platforms. For normal conversation and communication, we utilize discord, and for patrols we utilize TeamSpeak. We also utilise the Sonoran CAD for dispatch purposes.

Question: What is SA'F media policy?
Answer: SA'F allows all members to record and stream patrols without any requirements of rank, in accordance with the rules of our streaming policy you need to be in the community for at least 4 week in order to be eligible to produce content. Do keep in mind, we are not here to support your content creation or streaming careers.

Question: How long does it take for applications to be reviewed?
Answer: It can take up to a week or more depending on the number of applications that have been received.
