Mission Statement

The Communications Deparmtnet department strives to bring all emergency service members on the same frequency. We are the central hub of information where all 911 calls and radio traffic is processed. We are the front line making sure that people get the help they need in a quick manner.

Who are we?

Welcome to the San Andreas' Finest Communications Centre! We are the central communications hub for all emergency services within the state, providing real-time dispatching services for Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, EMS and more. Our team is made up of a tight-knit family of individuals from all walks of life, and we pride ourselves on our diverse and inclusive culture. We may experience the roleplay from an "outside perspective," but we're just as passionate about it as those on the front lines. In fact, our role is crucial to ensuring that those on the front lines can do their jobs as effectively and safely as possible. We take our work seriously, but we also know how to have fun. Our team is full of friendly and supportive individuals who are always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear. Additional Qualifications

The Communications Department allows it's members to obtain qualifications. Qualifications are an essential to a Dispatchers knowlege, you can unlock more as you progress further within your journey!

Negotiation

The negotiation qualification allows dispatch to have a qualified negotiator available if needed, this will open a new area for civilian scenes. If the event a civilian's life is at risk and is on a line with a dispatcher we can have a qualified negotiator available to talk to the patient until Law Enforcement can arrive on scene and take over if possible. The small team of negotiators will be extremely qualified and will go through not only the beginner training course but will regularly do mini-trainings, to keep tactics and procedures in their head. Negotiators will need to be able to deal with different scenarios such as suicidal, kidnapping, hostage, life-threatening scenes and much more.

Emergency Scene Management

The Emergency Scene Management qualification is a qualification for many of our more experienced dispatchers, this qualification goes in-depth into large scale scene dispatching for any radio. We highly recommend only those who are experienced put forward for this qualification as if the need arises on patrol, you will be in charge provided there are no Communication Command Team members on patrol. You must be able to be flexible to jump between radios to provide the best service, as although there may be a dispatcher in the channel, you may need to jump around channels to ensure the correct messages are being transmitted to units. Much like a scene commander, you will need to be able to command the radios and information. An example of a scene an Emergency Management Dispatcher would be needed would be a large scale prison riot, multiple active shooters, Ect In these sorts of situations, information all needs to be documented and run through one person to ensure all information is accounted for and can be traced back Due to the extreme requirements on patrol for this qualification, you must be a Dispatcher Ill and must have ECT, EMD, LECT to be able to execute this job to the full potential.
